The Sanctuary of the Ohio Valley

The Sanctuary of the Ohio Valley offers attentive care focused on each resident’s needs. Our approach is to give individualized attention to all residents as a means to provide for their comfort and well-being and enable each resident to function at their highest possible level. We realize that searching for healthcare alternatives for loved ones is an emotional process. Please let our team of professionals assist you in this pursuit.

The Sanctuary of the Ohio Valley Offers Private and Semi-Private Accommodations for all Residents Which Includes Two Levels of Care

Skilled and Intermediate Nursing Care

All residents are provided daily nursing services that are directed by physician’s orders and treatment plans.

Skilled nursing provides short-term care to residents focused on recovery and rehabilitation so they can return to their normal lives as quickly as possible. These services are often utilized during recuperation from serious health issues and are not able to be cared for at home.

Intermediate care is utilized for residents who do not require daily medical treatment but are unable to sufficiently care for themselves at home. This option provides light nursing care and assistance with daily activities. This is often the type of care that is pursued when looking for a balance of independence with an appropriate level of care, found in nursing homes.
